(9:25:07 PM) speaksecretsofspirit: Dad?
(9:25:38 PM) SJulianIgnacio: Yes baby
(9:27:06 PM) Jacques Charbonneau: I want to talk to you about the things I found.
(9:27:34 PM) Jacques Charbonneau: I watched that movie, The Mothman Prophecies. I know it can't be taken as anything but fiction but I thought maybe the humans would put some kind of detail into it.
(9:32:05 PM) SJulianIgnacio: ok.
(9:32:12 PM) SJulianIgnacio: so what did you find exactly
(9:32:17 PM) SJulianIgnacio: I remember the movie
(9:32:39 PM) Jacques Charbonneau: But see... I was thinking about everything Atlas told me too. and in the movie the mothmen may seem scary by appearances but they actually give the humans information in an effort to prevent tragedies and deaths from happening. that's one inconsistency. the other thing I noticed is that the mothmen are said to be able to read minds and see the future, but Atlas has never mentioned being able to do this.
(9:33:28 PM) Jacques Charbonneau: We've talked a lot about his circumstances and I feel like if he did have psychic powers he would say so. He's never done anything to even hint at it. I don't think he'd hide it from me.
(9:34:56 PM) Jacques Charbonneau: Do you think this could be a power of the demon? Is that a really common power in Hell?
(9:39:06 PM) SJulianIgnacio: I've done a little research myself. And human theories are all over the place. That particular movie is one adaptation. But, as for demons, some can, not a whole lot, not to be as specific as in the movie if that's not all hollywood jargon
(9:41:40 PM) Jacques Charbonneau: I think it's one detail that's in multiple theories, isn't it?
(9:41:45 PM) Jacques Charbonneau: I think it may be the first clue.
(9:42:16 PM) Jacques Charbonneau: Assuming it's true, who do you think we're looking at? Could you make a list of possibilities? It might be difficult but maybe it's better than nothing.
(9:43:46 PM) SJulianIgnacio: yeah, I can - I'm not really buying into this Indian Curse on the town either
(9:43:55 PM) SJulianIgnacio: that's just silly
(9:44:52 PM) Jacques Charbonneau: Me neither. I'm not sure there's any motivation for that, and it just seems so much like a demon to cause disasters and kill pets and things.
(9:45:24 PM) Jacques Charbonneau: besides that, I believe Atlas. he said he saw him and that he was a demon. that's good enough for me.
(9:51:58 PM) SJulianIgnacio: yeah, I believe you baby. I know Amon for sure, Prince Vassago, and Duke Barbatos off the top of my head,
(9:52:19 PM) SJulianIgnacio: amon is obviously the strongest
(9:52:27 PM) SJulianIgnacio: but I think there's a few more known
(9:52:30 PM) Jacques Charbonneau: that all sounds really, really bad...
(9:57:44 PM) Jacques Charbonneau: I'm having this thought... maybe it's not the most honest one.
(9:57:45 PM) Jacques Charbonneau: but.
(9:58:05 PM) Jacques Charbonneau: Maybe I shouldn't try to tell Atlas who did this to him, even if I know.
(9:58:18 PM) Jacques Charbonneau: I don't want him to do anything that will get him hurt, or worse.
(9:58:53 PM) Jacques Charbonneau: Maybe... I should try to make him feel better in another way. He can't get revenge on the demon who did this, but he can forgive himself if he tries.
(9:59:30 PM) SJulianIgnacio: hmmm. yeah. revenge and demons are two words you dont really want to put together
(9:59:49 PM) SJulianIgnacio: maybe, you're right, maybe there's little to do in that respect
(10:00:08 PM) Jacques Charbonneau: Maybe it's selfish of me, but I don't want him die, even if it's for his sister's sake and the sake of the others who died.
(10:00:27 PM) SJulianIgnacio: but, coming from someone who knows the feeling of wanting revenge.
(10:00:31 PM) SJulianIgnacio: I have to say
(10:00:45 PM) SJulianIgnacio: you should prepare you mind for a fight from atlas on this
(10:00:56 PM) SJulianIgnacio: if he's set on that.
(10:01:17 PM) SJulianIgnacio: it's not easy to just turn someone's thought processes over night
(10:01:26 PM) Jacques Charbonneau: I don't think I can convince him yet. But I don't want to lie to him and risk him hating me either.
(10:01:32 PM) Jacques Charbonneau: I don't know what to do.
(10:02:15 PM) SJulianIgnacio: unless it's for his own protection, honesty is usually the best policy
(10:02:32 PM) SJulianIgnacio: but fair warning
(10:02:43 PM) SJulianIgnacio: if he finds you've with held
(10:02:50 PM) SJulianIgnacio: that can turn sour quick
(10:03:34 PM) Jacques Charbonneau: I know, I know. I never want that. I think he trusts me.
(10:03:53 PM) Jacques Charbonneau: But I just think that if I gave him a name now he would go running after it.
(10:04:04 PM) Jacques Charbonneau: Maybe... I shouldn't ask you any more questions. So if I say I don't know, I'm telling the truth.
(10:04:12 PM) Jacques Charbonneau: I hope you understand. Please don't think badly of me.
(10:04:32 PM) SJulianIgnacio: but you don't really have a name. only possiblities
(10:04:47 PM) SJulianIgnacio: but I don't know if he's the type to go running after any name or not
(10:05:04 PM) SJulianIgnacio: I do understand
(10:05:09 PM) SJulianIgnacio: ignorance is bliss right?
(10:06:38 PM) Jacques Charbonneau: Yes, and... and... if it has to be that way, I just want to have the bliss part a little longer. I like spending time with him. He shows me things, and he's really kind and clever and fun. I just... can't.
(10:07:17 PM) SJulianIgnacio: hey you
(10:07:19 PM) SJulianIgnacio: it's ok
(10:07:29 PM) SJulianIgnacio: dont feel bad over wanting something nice
(10:07:57 PM) Jacques Charbonneau: I hope he thinks that.
(10:27:44 PM) Jacques Charbonneau: thanks, daddy. I need to think... bye.
(10:28:32 PM) SJulianIgnacio: ok be safe
