And that was it. Taj felt that truth in Andy, he heard those words, he felt the embrace. But, more than that, he saw it. His body went slightly rigid against Andy, but not to such rigorous extreme or near seizure as he'd done in the past. He'd been learning to control that stuff. That's what he meant by taking care of himself better. His vision came in a matter of 3 seconds, but it was there. He didn't see Adrian. But, he saw the room and the hours upon hours that turned into days of Andy's despair and he felt it, like he were Andy himself. Strangely when his body went limp again and controlled he didn't get scared like he does sometimes when experiencing things through other people's eyes. The feeling was too familiar. His body was actually calming and his crying was dying down. Once he'd settled enough he shifted his weight forward, leaning his head up and he didn't look Andy in the eyes, but he stared at his mouth. He reached up and touched them with his fingertips, but just faintly before pulling back. "I know. Me too. Reality smack. We both learned. ok?" He leaned his head back down to rest a bit more from the onslaught of emotion and tried to settle in to the only thing he'd ever found that was stable (which was ironic considering how unstable Andy was but it was true) in his life that held him. "I'll never forget. Lesson learned ok? Let's just be us now. That's all I want." And by us, he meant to stop all this avoiding, and proving things to each other, and just doing by them, their own rights to each other, that they always did, and to Taj, always should. Then he asked, "Come home? Just for tonight if you don't want to stay. Can I have one night of normal now please?" his voice was calm and even when he spoke.
