How could he possibly go to one area without researching where he could feed and where he couldn't before hand? He wasn't some stupid fledgling who didn't know how to car for himself, he was over a thousand years old and the rules were always the same... How could he have just "forgotten" just this once? The answer was that he really didn't care anymore. Life as a vampire had never been easy, had never been fun like people of this age seemed to think it was. It was just one annoyance after another, really. Night after night of feeding or not feeding - that was the life of a vampire. Oh, and sex - vampires had enough time to be good at that, he supposed, if they had the inclination. He had lost his own want for such things after he murdered his second wife with his blood lust. After his vow that he would never have interest again.
He found himself in front of what seemed to be a night club for humans, a place that was usually open season for his kind, unless otherwise marked, which this one wasn't. Not that he could see anyway... Even if it was, he could just apologize and pay whoever it was that was in charge of this kind of thing - or at least that's how it was in his earlier years. Adjusting himself, he stepped to the front of the line, looking at the bouncer with magic in his eyes until he was let in ahead of everyone else, appearing like a run of the mill VIP cutting in line. Like he would wait in such a long line to get something to eat. Human could do such a thing but he, as a vampire, didn't have to deal with such things if he didn't want to and tonight, he didn't. He hadn't had anything in quite some time for a vampire - four or five days, he couldn't remember how long he had slept and that's how he did it these days. Or rather years.
Entering the club proper, his bright blue eyes moved through the room, looking for the differences in the humans and whether or not there was any of his kind, or anything else. He saw a few that weren't human and marked them in his brain so that he could avoid them and any problems they would bring him. He was going to get a quick bite to eat and he would go home to his windowless bedroom and sleep another week away.
