Spocklar stayed quiet. He didn't ask her about having first turn to kill Nero, because the question didn't really cross his mind, he was too caught up in thinking about actually doing it. But it would occur to him later when he was less immediately upset and shaken.
But he did listen to her explanation of the scars. He couldn't recall ever seeing them, Sharley always wore long sleeves, even when it was hot, which did strike him as odd. It wouldn't be so strange to him because his body was built for higher temperatures, and on Earth he was often cold, but Sharley was human, and human physiology didn't have that same construction. She must be afraid of them to hide them. He wished he could ask Sharley about it, and not just Tanya.
But Azarael's entrance kept him from thinking anything else. The zombies were afraid of him, and Spocklar thought he should be too, but he didn't distinctly feel fear of Az, just a twisting mixture of emotions as it was. He held onto Tanya's hand tightly so he wouldn't get swept away by the hurricane, or something, when she came back over.
He looked up at her after Az left, feeling.. well, overwhelmed. Azarael was such a big figure, especially when they talked about him, that all of those expectations came forward when he saw him too. "What is he going to do? What do I have to do?" he asked at last.
