"I'm glad they were too. I couldn't imagine winding up here and them not being with us." Julian took Jude without any issue, the relief obvious in his expression as he watched his wife. He still had lingering guilt from what happened, and if they'd gotten transported into some weird sci-fi scenario, he would still have felt like a terrible parent if their boys weren't with them. Despite the situation, having Brooke and his sons there made everything seem almost...normal. It felt too right for it to be anything else.
Nodding a little, Julian looked into the room for a minute. "Is Haley okay?" he asked, starting to head back in. He knew Brooke would follow, and figured the rest of their conversation didn't need to be in the hallway.
