Julian couldn't help the feeling or relief that washed over him as he held his wife. Of course he didn't exactly want Brooke to be stuck here, but things felt so much better with her around. Setting her down as she finally disentangled herself, he watched as she moved to the boys and greeted them happily. They immediately began a series of coos and happy gurgles, waving their arms towards her as she inspected them. Julian moved to pick up Davis, preventing an unhappy tantrum once he saw mommy wasn't lifting him up right away. It would work for awhile before he got tired of daddy and wanted to switch.
