He had been close enough that she felt his breath, warm, gently caress her cheeks. She could even see the detail of his lips, all the creases and folds there, and the evident care in his green eyes for her. Her own breath caught in the back of her throat and she was paralyzed by his eyes. Just when she thought he was going to kiss her, the hunter pulled away, leaving her slightly stunned and taken a back by his sudden need to put space between them.
Then again, it was clear he loved her still or he wouldn't have bothered to tell her the truth in the first place. Perhaps he was scared, he didn't want to endanger her again, and Lisa could understand it. Nodding in agreement, she stood to at least walk him to the door.
"Yeah, it is", she replied quietly. Reaching behind him with slightly shaking hands-she didn't know how he affected her in such a way-she pulled the door open for him. "Good night, Dean."
