Dominique & OPEN!
WHO: Dominique O'Conner & OPEN! WHAT: Dominique needs to clear her head WHEN: After her entry WHERE: the gardens somewhere on mansion grounds. STATUS: open | incomplete
She took several deep breaths as she closed the stupid journal in her lap. This was some sick joke. It had to be. How could both of her parents not know who she was? How could her Uncle Dom not know her? This was insane. She'd been so excited to see her family, to know that she wasn't going to have to go through this crazy situation alone, and they has no idea who she was. It. Wasn't. Possible. Of course, this whole situation that she suddenly found herself in was supposedly "impossible".
She needed out of that annoying bedroom. Chucking the journal onto the bed, she marched herself out the door. Outside. She needed outside. Not even taking time to check out her new roommates, Domi practically ran through the house and down the stairs, not stopping until she was out in the gardens.
Dominique hadn't even noticed the tears that were streaming down her face until she had flopped down on a bench. Damnit. This was so out of character for her. She almost never cried. This ... this was too much to handle in one afternoon. Burying her face in her hands, she sat there, letting it out until she felt like she couldn't cry anymore.
Even after all the tears were gone, she still sat there. She hadn't realized exactly how messed up this situation was until just now, and everything seemed to just hit her all at once. Her mother, who was apparently pregnant, had gone into labor ... and Dominique couldn't help but feel like maybe it had been her fault. That's when it hit her. There were apparently people here from all over the world. Maybe there were people here from different times as well? What if her mother, hell, both of her parents, were from a time before she was born?
