Feeling as restless and crowded in as Faith, Buffy decided to venture out herself. Throwing a light jacket over her shoulders, the blond headed down stairs and out the front door into the moonlight. It felt strange to be stuck here and with no real explanation why. The how was obvious; the magician did pulled them here, but but it was without reason and without merit. Maybe he just didn't want to be alone in this big house? Or maybe he just didn't want to be alone with the butler in this house. Either way, it seemed selfish to Buffy and there were a lot of people here it seemed her didn't need a dose of selfish right now and she was definitely one of them.
Unlike the others, it was not just herself pulled here. The slayer was the unthinkable; Buffy was pregnant. It felt like one of those teen drama series on television or the Maury show. She didn't know the father and she couldn't remember sleeping with anyone that horrible night. Previous experience should have taught her that drinking and drinking a lot never went well-the "tree bad, fire pretty" moment in college was proof. Now she was stuck here and in her mind that was a lot worse than not knowing who the daddy of this baby was. It was old school here and the idea of an abortion seemed farther out of reach than ever before. Here, she might actually end up giving birth to the baby, but Buffy knew she was just not ready to be a mother. Everyday of her life proved that in every possible way. Slaying she could handle. All the normals stuff she just couldn't do without fucking up somewhere along the line.
The smell of smoke filled her nose and she glanced up, keen green eyes falling on the the familiar form of her fellow slayer, Faith. The sight actually almost made Buffy retreat back into the house and she never ran from anything or anyone. Still, she knew she would have to face Faith sometime and the truth was going to show definitely in a few more months. She might as well just get it over with.
Wandering up, Buffy offered the the other chosen one a faint smile. "Hey", she greeted quietly.
