Wasn't that the truth? Anything did seem possible, especially in this place. Just being here seemed like something that shouldn't have been possible, and yet there they all were, stuck in the past without a clear way home. Adam wished he had an answer though, or even a fairly certain possibility for what was going on with his magic. It was unnerving to not know and to simply be guessing.
His brows furrowed a little at her question and his gaze drifted as he thought about it. "Uh... strange at first. When I didn't realize anything was different and I wasn't expecting to be able to do anything." He had felt like he was doing something he shouldn't, but he imagined that was simply because he had gotten used to only doing magic with the Circle. Some days Adam felt like he was the only one in the Circle, aside from perhaps Diana, that didn't mind not being able to do magic on their own anymore. "I try not to think about it, really. Sometimes it feels... distracting. Uncomfortable." Adam struggled a little to think of how to best describe it, his gaze gradually returning to Cassie. "The other night... I just wanted to do something, anything with the magic. Like it just needed to be used."
