Who: Cassie darkmagicwitch and Adam What: Talking When: Soon after their conversation Where: Her room Rating: Pg-13 Status: Closed/ Incomplete
Though she shared the large room with two other people, Cassie Blake currently straightened and cleaned whatever came first into her sights. Adam would be over soon and the blond wanted her living space to appear, at least, somewhat clean despite three people calling it home. Home. It didn't seem right, didn't fit, and Cassie sighed softly. She wished they were home. True, back home there were witch hunters, Adam, who didn't love her any longer, and a father she didn't know if she could ever trust. Still, here was not much better in the witch's eyes.
Diana was attacked, nearly killed, and not just by normal means either: it was what appeared to be a bite. She had nearly bled to death and even now Cassie was not sure how her best friend manage to pull through. It was a true miracle and Cassie would never stop being grateful for the second chance fate had granted Diana; she was pretty sure none of the other members of the circle would either. Once she was healed or maybe even before, there was the talk of revenge. Adam made the first threatening post before Cassie had the chance, her dark magic stewing inside her and when she had gotten back to her room hours after Diana was stable, she had shattered a mirror in her room. Her powers were barely contained. The darkness would seep through her veins faster if she gave in, but right now, the one who did this deserved hell and if Cassie had the chance to deliver, would she pass it up?
Could she?
The blond didn't think so. How could she let the person go or thing who had harmed Diana without causing some pain to it? She wasn't so merciful. She had almost killed Adam's father when he attacked John Blackwell, her own father. It was nearly impossible for her to stop herself. The crime was much worse now and in Cassie's eyes, it was hard to see a reason to resist the temptation of dark magic now. On top of this, today would be the first time Adam and her were alone together and Cassie knew it was bound to carry all the awkward of their last time in the truck. Her own love practically spilling over the seats and his own nature, reserved and unaffected by her own presence in the same way the witch was affected by his. Regardless, Cassie was determined to put it aside and focus on Diana. She could deal with the awkward if it meant helping her best friend and saving the circle.
