Jake nodded when the room number finally came out, but he didn't say anything else; at least right then. He was not the most talkative of the group on a normal day, and this situation just made it even worse. The first priority would be getting Diana to her room. They could worry about supplies, healers, spells, whatever once they were there. His eyes stayed straight ahead as he moved in time with Melissa, and he refused to look at the girl in his arms too closely as they moved for fear of his emotions getting the best of him. Adam might have been handling it rather well, but Jake knew his own temper was not so obedient.
Waiting by the door, he figured Melissa was right. What was a little door spell at a time like this? They were all there anyway. Jake watched as the door swung open, banging against the opposing wall with the force of Adam's magic. Not commenting on it, he moved inside, searching the darkened room for a bed. "Which side is hers?" He didn't particularly care about roommates at this point, but Jake probably wasn't the right source to go to for manners.
