Anna nodded. It didn't surprise her that his little raid on the room nearly drained him completely, but the fact that he had acted against God's supposed wishes did. This Castiel was different than the one she had left behind upon her death. He was stronger somehow and had a touch of the free will in him that she always hoped to see.
She sat down beside him, hands in her lap, and looked over at her weakened brother. "Honestly, Castiel, I do not know myself. I was dead. Michael killed me. The fact that I am here, alive, is just as surprising to me as it is to you," she explained in her soft voice. "I thought I was all out of favors. Perhaps God has taken mercy on me. I do not know."
Fine? Hardly, he could barely sit down without assistance. "Castiel, you are far from fine. We've known each other too long for you to be able to lie to me and get away with it." The comment was followed by a faint smile. "Nice try, though."
