the good, the bad, and the dirty Who: Cassie, Sara, Steve, and Alec. What: Cassie pulls together a group in order to take down a bounty; following this holonet post. When: Midday. Where: A small colony outpost on Felucia. Rating: TBD Notes:OK guys; the posting order will be Cassie, Sara, Steve, and Alec -- basically just the response order to Cassie's original holonet help wanted ad. We'll do a brief intro where Cassie gets everyone up to speed, and then I'll NPC the bounty they're seeking. I have a loose set of events to keep things interesting, but depending on people's responses, things can always change! If there's anything particular you want to have happen or if you have questions, please let me know on Cassie's contact post.
The main thing that made this particular marketplace stand out from others that Cassie had visited during her year in the galaxy was the environment. So many systems seemed to like to stick to a particular theme -- ice, desert, and Felucia was no different. She did like the fact that there were more plants here, but someone needed to turn down the humidity; her hair was starting to spike like she was in a grunge band. Tying her hair back, she let her gaze scan the marketplace again, looking for the people who had responded to her call for help. If she'd had Vlad, she never would have done something like this; but then again, the bounty they were looking for was supposed to be a big guy, and she wasn't going to be able to handle this on her own. She was still trying to talk herself into believing that asking for help was a good thing, but...baby steps.
"Feel like I should be checking a watch or something," she muttered to herself as she pulled up the responses again. Hopefully these people were as good as their word; hopefully there weren't going to be any cowboys or would-be heroes who thought themselves tougher than they really were. If someone sunk under pressure, it would be on her to pull them back up, and she didn't feel like getting anyone killed today. Taking a deep breath, she cleared her head and instead focused on the populace around her. Much like her, they were dressed indiscriminately; a variety of species and races made it easy to blend into the crowd. No wonder this particular mark had come here; it was too much like a gangster back on Earth fleeing to Brazil. Little communication, people who kept to themselves, a gorgeous backdrop: what else would make a great hiding place?
Kicking one boot into the dirt, Cassie glanced to her right and noticed a blond. The woman looked like the first responder to her wanted ad; raising a hand, she wiggled her fingers in the woman's direction, hoping to grab her attention without having to bring any to herself.
