One moment, he was walking down the streets of the village on Naboo, his astromech droid wheeling at his heels. It was still a surreal thing - the little robot would beep and whistle at him like it was a real thing, with a real personality, even if Bellamy didn't understand a damn thing it was trying to get across. But the Naboo had given it to him when they gave him that ship when Bellamy went through the Refugee Dispersion process. He hadn't left Naboo yet, though. The idea of leaving the planet and traveling anywhere he wanted was daunting. And he didn't want to leave without his people and he didn't know if they were ready to leave just yet. He wanted to have a plan and the options were too many for him to process fully. So Bellamy was still on Naboo for the time being. He had made plans to meet Clarke and considered talking about leaving the planet again. He had been practicing and, oddly enough, Bellamy turned out to be a pretty damn good pilot for someone who'd never done anything like that before. He had been asking around about places to go, too. It wasn't that Naboo wasn't great and it wasn't that he didn't like the idea of hanging around in case more of his people came through or in case they found a way to get back. But a month had passed. He needed something to do.
Bellamy was almost to where he had agreed to meet Clarke, turning the corner to head to their designated meeting point, when suddenly, he wasn't anymore. A glitch in whatever time-space continuum existed pitched him back to Earth - not that he knew the difference. No recollection of Naboo or that galaxy existed in Bellamy's mind as he lived out the three months from the attack on Mount Weather. He was pleading with Monty, blood, sweat, and tears pouring from him as he was faced with giving up. Faced with the inevitability of his own injury, Bellamy conceded defeat in anguish, only to take a step and stagger right back into the clean, bright streets of Naboo. He toppled over his astromech, which squealed in offense, it's green dome swivelling. He blinked against the sudden brightness, reeling in confusion. The pain didn't hit him until he shifted his weight off of the droid to step away from it. When Bellamy's weight transferred to his injured leg, it buckled and Bellamy couldn't help the cry of pain that slipped out.
No!, his brain screamed at him, because he hadn't put all the pieces together yet. His mind spun to grapple with the memories of Naboo and of home while still scrambling to process the intense amount of pain radiating from his thigh. The astromech droid buzzed and rocked back and forth in what was clearly alarm, but Bellamy barely acknowledged it. He tried to stand again, swaying on his feet as he doubled over to put pressure on the stab wound. Where was Clarke? If he had gone back and she was there... what if that man still had her? Panic surged through Bellamy again and he hobbled/fell toward the building nearest to him, leaning heavily against it. The droid wheeled after him, the buzzing and blatts now replaced with soft beeps and whistles, and Bellamy finally shot a glare in its direction. Weren't those things supposed to be helpful here? His mind was fuzzy with three months' worth of new memories and a mixture of pain and despair that wouldn't quite go away.
"Where's Clarke?" he ground out. He was not back here without her. He wasn't going to accept that. He couldn't. He lifted a hand to wipe sweat from his brow, leaving a bright strike of red. "Clarke!" the droid didn't answer fast enough, so Bellamy shouted. Monty, Pike, and Kane weren't here to rationalize with him now and he didn't care if he bled out in the streets - Bellamy was going to crawl over this entire planet until he was sure Clarke was here.
