When she pressed down, gripping his thigh, Bellamy started to groan in pain but clamped his jaw tight to cut the sound off, giving his best effort not let the pain show, even though his stomach flipped as it shuddered through him. He could handle this. He just exhaled heavily through his nose, sweat dripping off strands of his disheveled hair. Rather than worry about what she was doing or anything else, Bellamy chose to focus on managing his pain and his reaction to it. It was a feat he might have been able to accomplish if he hadn't been completely caught off-guard by the sudden shine of white light. He had to shut his eyes against the brightness, turning his head even as the afterglow danced across his eyelids. The event left him distracted for when... whatever Dee was doing started to work.
Bellamy just thought it hurt the first time. As the damaged flesh began to heal, vessels reconnecting and muscle knitting back together, Bellamy couldn't help but cry out in pain, head back. When the Grounder stabbed him the first time, Bellamy had been caught off guard and shock protected him from the full burst of pain, but this time knowing it was coming; it was worse. The coppery, earthy smell of blood and skin only intensified it, nausea sweeping over him. Somehow, it was harder to tolerate it knowing it was his own burnt skin and blood instead of someone else's.
Dee healed him. It was a fact that he could feel immediately, even if his mind was stunned at the idea. His breathing was still ragged and labored, but Bellamy sat up quickly, hands going to his leg as if to double-check what he already knew. Sweat stilling pouring down his face, hair in his eyes, Bellamy was silent for a moment before looking over to the healer. "I-" he shook his head, "That's incredible," Bellamy said, awestruck. "It feels..." he shook his head again and made an impressed noise at the back of his throat, "it's healed." He didn't really know what to say. He remembered Clarke suddenly, the pain no longer drowning out everything else and he looked over to the blonde for a moment before his attention when back to Dee.
