"You missed it! It was this little creature, so different then anything we have back home or anywhere I know for that matter. I just can't believe that there's a whole new world out there. How does one hide that fact?" Lucifer still couldn't figure out if his father knew of this place or not.
"Yeah," he huffed. "It probably doesn't. He wouldn't want me to have fun. Would probably send me to some boring world if it was up to him. One with churches and praying all the time. No woman or alcohol or drugs. Horrible place that would be. Then again, this is a world where lots of people don't even know who I am! Can you believe that, no devil here." Even if people didn't always believe him, he did love throwing who he was around and to now have people not know who he was or have other versions of him was not something he liked.
Now things turned serious with Chloes question. Of course she'd remember why he asked her here. "Do you really believe me now, Chloe..That part is important." If she did truly believe him then maybe it would be better to tell her especially if she did believe him and thought he'd be immortal here. No telling the accidents they might get in, she probably did need to know he told himself over and over again. But, to expose himself like that, well that was a whole new thing for him.
