Wanda looked away to give Mika some degree of privacy as she brought out the items her friend had secreted in the box. Her throat felt very tight.
But after a few moments, all the questions she had forced her to turn back. "I've heard of the First Order," she said uncomfortably. "Is it very difficult to hide...the Force?" Given a moment to think, she wondered if she'd really experienced what she thought she'd experienced after all, or if she'd just picked it up from Mika. But given another minute to think, she wondered if any of her recent difficulties were due to someone detecting this force-sensitivity. She would have to think about that more later.
She looked at the light sabre, quiescent now. "That does not look like it would be easy to hide, if it were ever used. It looks...effective, though." A sabre was meant for killing, Wanda thought. No wonder the Jedi were feared.
Wanda eyed Mika uncertainly, thinking about fear, the fear of others, the fear of yourself. She knew it well from both sides. "Are you no longer afraid?"
