"Then they are faking it or are the luckiest people in existence," Buffy said with a snort. She couldn't fathom the idea that anyone really knew what they were doing. Maybe it was just her own experiences clouding her perspective, but the world was filled with such a chaotic mix of things that it just wasn't possible for her to believe otherwise.
If Wanda had asked Buffy about her own experiences, at this point Buffy would have shared, though she'd likely be hesitant if only because of the emotions that were already heightened. It wasn't as if she hadn't already shared some of her personal history with others yet, though she had done so in more controlled circumstances. It was probably better it didn't come up directly in this moment considering how twisty the emotional railroad was now.
Buffy liked to think that she still might meet him. After all, the whole rift thing worked in weird ways, right? Maybe it would actually throw Wanda a bit of love and send her brother through. Wanda seemed deserving of that in her opinion and it made her almost wish that there were some Higher Powers she could plead the case to. "It's not nearly the same, but I welcome any and all stories about him. Just so you know." It could help Wanda and give Buffy even more insight about her brother, which sounded like a win in her book.
