"I don't think any of us ever really know what is actually okay," Buffy half shrugged, knowing full well that was lame and vague sounding. "I think it's more of a feeling. A vibe or something that just feels... as close to what is considered normal to each of us." That might have made more sense in her head and it made her wonder if she had accidentally projected any of her own thoughts to Wanda. She wasn't sure how that worked per say, but if a person opened a door it usually meant it could be used both ways, right? She knew that she had been caught up in the emotional wave of Wanda's enough to keep her from focusing on her own experiences too much, other than using them as a baseline for her hopefully helpful Buffy babble. The last thing Wanda ever needed to feel was broken Buffy. It was something she didn't wish (not that she ever wished anything anyway) on anyone.
"You're welcome and it's fine, really." It was. In fact, Buffy felt almost wistful because of it. The way Wanda felt about her brother made her wish she'd met him at least once. Family or not, a person didn't make that much of an impact without being worth it. "Never apologize to me for that. I offered to listen and yeah, that was a whole new method of doing it, but I think that worked out better than words." Words had a habit of failing, even when someone could babble like she could. "I'm going to let this be a standing offer. Because sometimes you just need to someone to project to. Whether it's with words or you know, literally," Buffy offered her a hesitant smile. "And in case you haven't noticed, I can take it. Having the weight of the world on my shoulders has been a good workout to prep me for this."
