Gemini's temper began to boil as the woman patronised her, emotions working a little differently in her bloodless body, but anger was something that still came easily, a hot mental sensation that helped to make up for her physical emptiness.
The rub of it was that she was right, she hadn't done her research properly, arrogantly assuming that all she need do was find a Captain and offer them an inordinate amount of money. Now that she was confronted with it of course there was more to it then that, she'd been foolish to assume anything. But the fact that the woman was right only injured her pride further, and although so far she'd managed to keep her expression under control there was only so much she could do she was seething so badly.
"I wanted a ship and was prepared to offer you a great deal of money." She began, her tone cold. "Instead you insult me. Big. Mistake." She leaned closer, voice dropping even as the anger in it rose.
"Sweetheart, I promise you the last thing that goes through your mind before I kill you is going to be how much you regret pissing me off." She hissed, pushing herself to her feet, the chair falling over with a clatter, for a moment she stared at the woman as if she'd like nothing more than to kill her on the spot, but there were too many witnesses here, and while she could easily spear her through the head and escape by changing form she could do without the attention.
Instead she turned, shoulders hunched, stalking angrily away from the woman.
