Lois quirked her head to the side and studied her as she spoke. "Independent activities?" Lois wasn't sure what she meant by that. Was she really making that much of a fuss with her ship lately? Maybe it was the excitement and mixed emotions causing her to make more of a ruckus than usual. Not exactly surprising considering how loud she tended to be in life.
"I'm fine," she paused and half shrugged, "Some might think I might be going overboard but a woman needs to be prepared for anything and everything, or at least try to be." Lois smiled slightly, it was hard not to at someone being so blunt. "You don't strike me as someone that would be lacking in the friend department, but hey, you've got my curiosity piqued. I mean, I could turn out to be some evil mastermind in disguise." Not that Lois believed anyone would think that of her. She could hide her motivations pretty solidly depending on the situation and who she was dealing with, but Lois knew she wasn't that good of an actress.
