Timing really was everything and apparently Lois's spur of the moment schedule was doomed to be put to the wayside... She was sorely tempted to ignore everything, it wouldn't be the first time she'd tuned the world out in order to write or do anything else, but with so much happening in the galaxy Lois couldn't risk missing out on something important or at least something exciting. Besides, who would actually want to bother her right now anyway? That was enough right there to make her curious to open the door.
So of course she did it. It might have seemed a little foolish, but she was armed and she hadn't made herself a nuisance yet so there shouldn't have been anyone gunning for her. The door opened up and Lois leaned against the frame with an openly curious look. Behind her in the ship, R8 could be seen at a table with Corporal where they had settled down to play a round of Pazaak.
"It's fine," Lois replied with a light shrug. "I wasn't doing anything that I can't do later." Despite her frustration, that was actually true. The thoughts in her head weren't going anywhere so as long as she was able to she'd still get it down in print eventually. Hell, maybe she would even have something new to add to it after this. "What can I do for you?"
