He rolled his eyes, seeing that he was at least annoying her and hoping to provoke her further. Before Klaus could press onward, he found himself suddenly impaled. The initial spike through the forehead did the trick, 'killing' him just as he began the feel the others sliding through him. He only managed a gargled grunt of pain before death and it wasn't until she released him that he began to heal. The process only took moments, his brain repairing and his heart starting to beat again soon after. Slumped over, Klaus awoke with a ragged gasp as his lungs repaired and burned for oxygen. He wheezed, a hand clutching his chest as his organs and muscles knitted themselves back together. Immortality wasn't devoid of pain, that was for certain.
Klaus lifted his gaze to glare venomously at Gemini, slowly rising to his feet. Once standing, his body putting the finishing touches on its healing, he looked down at himself. His shirt was now riddled with holes and slick with blood. "I've been avoiding purchasing clothing from this dreadful place and now..." he tutted, patting down the fabric only to bring his bloodied hand away. Klaus lifted a hand and swiped the back of it across his forehead, where blood remained as well. "Speaking of rude - attempting to call my bluff certainly fits the category." His flippant tone and casual demeanor masked his fury for the time being. Gemini was marked as an enemy for now, but he maintained his nonchalance - something he could do until he pinpointed a weakness.
