If Cassie knew how much her thoughts echoed Liriael's, she might have been surprised. For most of her adult life, Liri had tried to live her life by the Jedi code, at least nominally, and she realized now how many attachments she was developing with her crew. At the same time, it felt right, and she knew that they were all capable and could handle themselves. She just needed to trust them.
"I'm glad you're here, too, Cassie," she replied, after a moment. "This wouldn't be nearly as much fun without someone else, that's for damn sure." Laughing, she powered the engines back up and started in on the flying lesson, in the vastness of space.
