Listening intently, Liriael thought back over the species that inhabited the galaxy, as she knew it. "I don't think you could classify any dead here as zombies," she answered, thinking it over. "But the Sith Lords, there are ways they have returned from the dead, in a manner of speaking. The Force, it's fed and sustained by living things, and it's like....pure energy. Force-users, like Jedi, they can harness that, but even more so, they can sometimes...subsume themselves into it. There are stories of Jedi that have become part of the Force after they died, and there are many more such stories of malevolent Sith that remain as deadly spirits." She glanced over at Cassie. "Sith spirits can affect you and I as easily as someone can shoot us with a blaster, so....perhaps it's a little bit similar. If you had a connection to the...slashers, was it...in your world, you may have some Force-sensitivity here after all." She paused, then said, "This Vlad, you miss him? You just mentioned a companion before, that you used to work with."
At her friend's attempt to change the subject, Liriael slanted her an understanding look. "Caine is new, yes. I think you'll like him. He's a soldier from another space-faring race."
