By this stage Gemini had no doubt in the ability of Issan to exit the base unseen. Issan was a skilled illusionist and could handle herself that much was clear, and the hardest part of the mission was already accomplished.
Oozing into the surveillance system, Gemini began to spread herself through it, severing crucial connections and blocking vital cooling vents, steadily compromising the internal workings of the security system. Once she was sure the machine would overload, escape became her priority. The sleepy technician on duty didn't notice the thin ribbon of goo that snaked its way from the servers to the air vents, and less than a minute later a small blob squeezed out of an airvent, condensed and took to the air a moment later as a small earth bat.
Flying over the heads of the guards, she began to circle, keen eyes catching sight of Issan hiding in the forest, and flew over to land close to her.
"Well that went well," Gemini emerged in her own form a moment later, casually straightening her gloves and smiling appreciatively. "I must say I had no idea you'd be so useful."
