Gemini saw what she thought was a hint of discomfort on Issan's face, but she was used to the reaction of others on seeing her change identities and didn't make any comment, following Issan as they headed further down into the basement.
Issan stopped, and Gemini glanced at a dataport, unsure of anything beyond the basics. "In my own universe very good, but I'm still adapting to the technology here," she answered with a hint of frustration. "I can't help you with that but I can scout ahead from here. This'll take a minute." Glasya's fingers began to elongate, dropping down to run along the edges of the floor, adopting the same colour and texture of the wall so no one would see the movement. The finger-tendrils spread quickly through the lower building, squeezing under closed doors, splitting each time there was a new door to explore. Closing her eyes to shut off an unnecessary extra input on her eyes, she concentrated on her extensions, adjusting the cells at the tip so that she could see with each of them, looking for anything that resembled a detention facility.
"This way," Gemini jerked back to life, pulling out of the intense concentration needed to process the input of multiple eyes. She nodded at a door to the right, the long spaghetti like appendages that were her fingers rapidly pulling back into normal fingers. "First left, then the second right. There's a single guard outside his cell."
