Though she had seen it before, the quick alteration still gave Issan chills. This woman now looked and sounded like Glasya, but the empty space behind Issan was so alien. She was amazed by the woman's skills, but intensely disliked seeing her master's face somewhere it should not be. She pushed the thoughts from her mind, skinning the emotion tied to them and instead funneling them toward something useful.
"Hm, perhaps this way." Issan was able to feel lifeforms, but her Force abilities didn't come with turn by turn directions. Keeping to the wall and moving slowly so as to not run into anyone walking out of a room, Issan led both of them toward a staircase at the back of the hall. All they had to go on was 'downstairs,' so down they would go. They encountered only one soldier walking up the steps, one who paused at the sensation of being watched, but they remained unseen as he decided to walk by. Issan motioned to Gem to keep moving, having pressed herself up against the railing to ensure there was enough space for the man to pass by.
There were two more guards at the foot of the stairs, a man and a woman. As attentive as they were, they gave no sign of seeing or hearing anything as the infiltrators moved by.
Issan stopped once they were around a corner and out of sight. She squeezed her eyes shut, but it was difficult to pinpoint a specific direction. She turned to Gem. "We need more information. How are your hacking skills?"
