"Yes, well the Order and I have developed quite a number of techniques for dealing with lightsaber wounds, 2-1B, and thank you for your assistance. I'll leave the rest to your expertise, and I'll leave the Force to me," Turning his gaze back to Tabe, Luke was pleased when she shook his hand and raised a brow, "Tabe Kana, it's a pleasure. And no, I suppose it might not be enough, but Qui-Gon Jinn is a Jedi Master, and a rather powerful and brilliant one at that. The Force is with him, and I've no doubt he'll recover to the best of his abilities."
Luke kept his smile, as well as his pace with Tabe, listening to her concerns and questions. Hands nestled in a crossed pattern over his stomach while he walked, his mind still wrapping around the situation. That was Qui-Gon Jinn, and his arrival did add up to what Luke had been apprised about with this situation, but it still didn't seem possible, or even entirely sensible to him. He supposed even his old mind, affluent with the Force as it was, still had plenty to learn.
"There definitely was a bond between the two, and there still is. I hold similar bonds to many of my former apprentices, though I suspect much of that stems from a familiarity with one another in the Force, but the bonds do develop. I was not a student of Qui-Gon's, although my former Master was. And my father, for a short period. So I'm sure there will be a strong connection there. But to answer your question--yes. It will help."
Luke frowned at the last question though, "There are wounds in the Force, but I was not there with Qui-Gon in those final moments. I'm not sure how he suffered, or what he suffered from. It's possible there are wounds within that only the Force can heal, but getting his body secured is the most important thing now, the Force later."
