Gemini could see the worry in Bellamy's eyes and knew that she was doing her job well, planting little seeds that would blossom the more she watered them. It would take time and a lot of work, but she was really going to enjoy ripping Bellamy's fragile life to shreds and leaving him with nothing but pain and regret, then he'd know how she felt
"I trust you," the words slipped out of her before Cat could stop them and she blushed deeply, looking down at the table shyly. "I'm not a fighter," she said quietly, sounding every bit as fearful as she appeared to feel. "But I want to do the right thing and I don't want you or anyone else to get hurt."
The droid returned with the drinks, giving her an opportunity to lighten the tone once more. The Tatooine Sunburn turned out to be worthy of it's name, the glass glowing a brilliant yellow like the sun itself. "This stuff always helps, right?" She asked, smiling and lifting the glass. "Gotta say it looks pretty incredible."
Waiting for the glow to fade before she drank, the light from the glass illuminating her features, she spoke again, changing the subject. "Gosh I'm sorry if I've been a bit of a downer, I really don't mean to be. Is there something else you'd like to talk about instead? I'd really like to get to know you better."
