She was sure. Buffy knew that she would be back to normal in a day or two and at this point it was already more irritation than actual injury making her feel bad. She just hated it when the demons didn't play fair. Stupid space rules and convenient weapons.
Buffy smiled slightly at her, "I rarely ever take them at face value." It may sound like she was doing so now, but she was actually following her instincts, even if they were conflicting with her inner predator.
The Togruta thought Wanda's question over before replying. "My brother has a medical clinic not far from here. He can help us out." She closed her eyes and exhaled deeply but stood strong. "I wouldn't say no to help getting there, but I can get her over there on my own."
"Yeah, no. We're going to make sure you get there safe as houses." Buffy could respect the strength she had, but she wasn't going to let them go on their own. She gave a pointed look to Sarysi, "And if you cause any trouble along the way..." She spun her scythe once and pointed the blade toward the vampire, "You'll be missing a head, crowd or not, I'll risk it."
Sarysi's eyes widened but she nodded. "That sounds fair." She didn't look like she was going to put up an actual fight and was beginning to look as though she was glad things had turned out that way. "But if you're going to lock me up afterward, we should raid their kitchen first."
She had a point, Buffy realized, having almost forgotten that. She motioned for Sarysi to head toward the kitchen. "I'll be right back, Wanda." Sarysi led them through a door nearby that slid open into the wall and while Buffy had expected a disaster zone or something overly monstrous, she was pleasantly surprised to see a pretty immaculately clean kitchen in white and what might have been stainless steel.
Sarysi grabbed what Buffy thought was a cooler and then pulled open one of the refrigerator doors open. From her spot in the doorway, she could see that it was filled with a variety of containers and even blood packs. The Slayer watched as the vampire searched through it for certain packs and stuffed her cooler full before she closed it up tight. She gave the cooler a good shake as if satisfied by the take. Looking up, she caught Buffy's arched eyebrow and shrugged. "They stole our supply off our ship, so I'm taking it back. I don't know where they got theirs, so I don't want to risk it."
"Fair enough," Buffy stepped aside to let Sarysi pass by and the vampire did so without any incident. They rejoined Wanda and the girls and Buffy looked toward what she assumed was the entrance. "Ready to go? We should probably leave like normal people." She didn't want to tax Wanda's abilities by leaving the way they came. Besides, maybe it would give her a chance to see what the casino looked like from a customer's point of view.
