"It was made for Slayers," It was a simple explanation, one that followed with a shrug. It was also still one of her newer weapons since she had only just gotten it not long before Sunnydale went poof. Her head quirked to the side, curious to see what Wanda meant by armed. Her brow furrowed at the demonstration. She wasn't surprised but she wasn't sure what it was she did exactly. "Huh. Cool." She nodded and smiled her approval though, because hey, whatever it was handy looking and Buffy was fine with that. "Is that magic or some kind of telekinesis thing?"
Buffy let her gaze wander around the patrons of the bar as they entered. Her senses were already on full alert, mostly on instinct, but she was still feeling something she wasn't used to lately. She had been hoping it had just been Naboo and being near the rift making her feel weird. But it was still happening and she was starting wonder if something was really wrong with her.
"Well, some of course are smarter than the average bear," Buffy reluctantly acquiesced, "Those are usually the most dangerous. But what I'm looking for are the morons that put the smart ones, their nests, their friends, and whatever in danger with their failures of nonlife. Every group will have at least one, maybe more depending how large they are. If they're out here making the rounds in a way that trigger rumors, then that helps put the spot light on them. That would be really bad for them if they came through the rift like us. Slayers, hunters, and anyone else that knows about them will know what to look for and will track them down if they're causing trouble." Not that any of that really answered the question, Buffy realized. "As for the smart ones... if you can outwit them, great, do it. But if not, you just have to be sure to take them down fast and first. Like people, it usually depends on what kind of smart they are and what kind of motives they have. If they're my kind of vampires, unless they have a soul, which is a total of two and I know them personally, just stake 'em and go if they're already killing people. If you’re having trouble tracking them because of how smart they are, you just have to keep looking. No one is perfect, not even them. There is usually a slip up somewhere that you can exploit to find them."
The Slayer followed Wanda's gaze and gave her an inquisitive look, "Yeah, they look good to start." They seemed to wear isolation like a coat and Buffy cold practically feel the negative emotion from them. She was probably just imagining that because of the atmosphere though. "What made you pick them?"
