Taking the moment to catch her breath, Sidara was disappointed when the Bothan never appeared. She knew from the look on his face that he hadn't ever intended to follow, but it was still a painful reality to face. She hated losing people. The Rodians were in tact and that was a relief - Sidara wasn't sure how she'd manage a risky take off with her less-than-mediocre piloting skills. Getting from Point A to Point B was one thing, but evasive maneuvering? Not something she'd ever tried before. With her team accounted for as best as it could be, she was also relieved to see that a few of the other team managed to make it out as well. And more than a few of the entire crowd would need medical attention.
The human spoke and Sidara looked to her and nodded. "You're right," she said stiffly. They were harsh words, but they were the truth. "It's not too far now. We've got a pilot and a medic and right now considering the circumstances, I think that means we're pretty well off." She nodded to the Rodian and he fumbled with a communicator to have the droids get the ship ready for take-off. "This way," she said and set off again. While the break was brief, they couldn't risk hanging around long and she knew that. The woman had been right in everything she said. While Sidara was fairly certain they managed to get enough distance to not be followed, you could never be entirely sure and she didn't want to risk more lives by wasting too much time catching her breath in an alleyway.
It took a few more twists and turns before they finally reached the ship and Sidara stood at the foot of the gangplank, blaster raised, just in case she needed to offer cover while they all loaded up. They could figure out where they needed to drop off their new friends once there was plenty of distance between them and this place. And once she was certain they were all treated for whatever injuries they had.
