Shifting uncomfortably, Liriael attempted to ignore his perusal. It was pretty much as she had suspected, but she disliked the overt appraisal. Still, a job was a job, and if the client wanted to ogle her, by and large she did not care. If Bibble wasn't so....blank when she tried to read him, it would be less concerning. She didn't enjoy not knowing how intent his thought processes were. She doubted he posed any real threat, as she was fairly well trained, but taking down a client with wandering hands usually meant no more paycheck.
"The planet has had thirty years to adjust," Liriael answered, her tone even. She found herself curious if Bibble knew exactly who was coming through the rift. "It looks to me like many are going offworld. I cannot say that I have seen anything notable in their appearances." Lying was not her forte, but she would gloss over the truth if she had to. "Have you seen anything to make you worry?" There, a question a bodyguard would ask.
