"I'll think about it," Buffy made herself sound as though she really would. It wasn't hard since the idea of it in general was no on her mind. She was sure that Cat was not going to be on her list of people to train though. Whatever it was that had her on edge about Cat still bothered her and if it kept up, she might do something stupid. So Buffy decided to play off her emotional shift as though the previous topic had just soured her mood. It wasn't too hard considering how she actually did feel about losing Tara. "It could actually be fun and fun would be good right about now."
But she offered Cat a a warm but tired smile and let some weariness slip into her eyes. Buffy let her shoulders droop just a little bit for extra effect. "I've got to head out for now though, I think I let myself get distracted for a little too long, and I have got to finish this shopping sometime in the lifetime." She let her smile brighten slightly to make it look as though she was trying to push out of the dour mood that threatened her now. "Preferably before another pickpocket decides I look like a fun choice on the menu. It was really nice to meet you, Cat."
