Buffy was closing up again and Gemini felt a wave of frustration at getting so close to finding out more only to have it snatched away. While patience was a virtue it was never something she'd had that much of and her approach wasn't yielding much results.
For a moment she struggled inwardly, torn between maintaining her cover or punching Buffy across the street just to prove her assumption about the blonde being different right and also just for the fun of it. But her training reasserted itself and instead of elongating her arm to strike and drawing far too much attention to herself she kept in character, blue eyes full of warmth and empathy rather than the cold, hard gaze that wanted to break through.
"I'm guessing it's pretty difficult," she nodded with a grin, simulating waving imaginary pom-poms for a second. "Well I hope you'll give teaching me some serious thought, I'd really really appreciate it, maybe we could even practice some cheerleading too sometime." She giggled and stepped back, giving Buffy an opportunity to end the conversation if as she suspected the other girl was as tired of it as she was.
