Honestly, the more time she was spending with Cat, the more she was starting to think she needed to cut it short and get a move on. It wasn't a demon thing as far as she could tell, but she was getting some kind of vibe at between it and the uncertainty, it was starting to bug her too much for her liking.
Buffy strengthened her resolve, not liking the fact she was letting even the littlest cracks show. She shook her head and shrugged lightly, both to remove Cat's hand from her and to put her mask back on. "No. Sometimes things just happen because people are assholes." And Warren was definitely that and more. Buffy did have some guilt over Tara, and every other life lost on what she considered her watch, but she was making sure not to show it. "And I'm good at fighting because I just like to be. Can't be a cheerleader forever unless you go professional. Do you know how hard that actually is to do?"
