Though Bellamy's hesitation was slight, it was more than Glasya could accept. Too much hung in the balance for this decision to be left to chance. He nearly pressed, nearly intervened and let his influence guide the young man's answer. And then the response came, pliant and accepting, and Glasya could relax.
"Of course," he said. "I have no intention of keeping you from your friends or family. We'll train no more than one standard rotation at a time, and you can return to Naboo in between. If you take well to your training, and have no immediate need to return to the surface, we can discuss extending your sessions. You'll have your comlink and the ship's holo device at your disposal. I only ask that you not disclose the precise nature of what we're doing. The less they know for now, the safer they'll be."
He took a single step closer to Bellamy. He smiled softly, his head canted as he watched the young man carefully. "You're making the right decision. This is a great opportunity for you, and your loved ones will recognize that. We can leave, and begin, as soon as you are ready."
