On the ground, Bellamy had risen above the lot he had been given on the Ark. He carved a space for himself with equal parts violence and care. He was relieved that even now, he was still above what the Ark had done to him. He was willful. It was something Bellamy took as a compliment. He knew enough of himself that he agreed with the idea he could become something formidable. He fought off Grounders and helped take out the Mountain, after all. And if someone was willing to train him in the Force, he could be just as powerful here. And that meant no one would touch his sister or Clarke or Raven. Or anyone else from home that decided to show up.
Hesitation hit him, however, when Glasya mentioned his sister. What was his plan? Bellamy didn't have one other than to keep her safe. "The plan is just to make sure she's alright. Keep her that way," he said flatly. "I've got other people here too; Clarke and Raven. I want to make sure they're safe. Whatever it takes." This world was a lot to take in, with all the freedom and the luxuries that none of them had ever experienced. It meant you could get lazy and he didn't want that to happen. That was Mount Weather trapped his people and nearly killed them all. So he needed a way to protect them all from whatever trouble would inevitably arise. He looked around the house, "I get the Naboo are trying to help, but the last time my people relied on others trying to help like this... a lot of people died. I want a different way."
