"Captain." It was the tone she used to keep a pack of swaggering, athletic grunts in line and she fixed him with a stern look. That logic had kept her from breaking down and hating his memories once he left. She shook her head, still putting it together but stunned, and stepped forward to lean her head against his shoulder.
