Helena nodded. "Four days ago," the ghost of her terror from those first few days passed through her dark eyes but soon vanished. "Then yesterday, Rowan arrived. Today it was Bazzer and now you. Cross." She repeated his name as though driving the reality of him into her mind. "Today, right? You woke up here today?" He may have been slinking around with that knife of his longer than she thought. She glanced left and right. "Did you arrive with anything else? Blankets? Pillows?" It was asked only half heartedly, since he was fully dressed. She came to the conclusion that he must have fallen asleep upright, much like how Bazzer had fallen asleep on his couch.
