Kenneth raised an eyebrow at the comment about books and let go of his gun long enough to lay his hand on Bazzer's shoulders momentarily. "If you really want to find badass, get out of the fiction section and read some biographies. I'm sure you've read plenty of those. Try anyone that was a solider. I'd recommend some, but I hear the library here sort of sucks." He grinned slightly, "Badass is overrated anyway. Smarter men don't need guns or heroics, sadly we live in a time where men aren't that smart and things devolve into violence far faster than they should. Leaders can't seem to just...let go of things."
Realizing he was rambling, Kenneth shut up. It might have surprised many people to know that the colonel thought there were better avenues for things than war considering he was fairly decent and playing and planning violence, but in his mind, that was should always be the last ditch effort. His thoughts turned to Clay and Payne again and their possession of Angelica's gun. One way or the other he was going to have to get that back to her and yes, he would try talking first, but in the event that didn't work...well, there was always his other specialities.
