Sophie had heard the commotion, honestly. She wasn't sure what was going on, but she heard it. All of the noise and scuffling caught her attention. She couldn't help it, she found herself moving towards it. It was Clay and Payne and they had been doing something, but Sophie definitely didn't want to get involved in that. All she could tell was that Payne was jabbing clay and he was bleeding, a crude version of a tattoo she supposed, but that wasn't sanitary or a very good idea here with the lack of antibiotic ointment and everything.
The second Sophie caught the harsh words and then the actual fight she went wide eyed. She didn't say anything. She couldn't. She was afraid of Payne and Clay she wasn't sure about. Payne had seemed jealous and Sophie didn't want to start anything. She just wanted to stay out of it, but watching Rook grab Clay's arm she felt a pang of worry go through her for both Clay and Payne. It wouldn't be good if either of them hurt the other and she knew that much. Rook was holding onto Clay's elbow and it didn't look very comfortable.
"Um....Rook..." Sophie started quietly, taking a small step forward, though trying not to draw too much attention to herself. "You might be hurting him.... maybe you should loosen up. I don't think more violence or pain will, um, help anything...." Sophie got out and stepped back hoping to take any sort of spotlight off of her. She didn't want to make Payne or anyone else angry.
