If it were possible for Quinn to follow most of what she'd just said, he would have scoffed. He didn't have family, he didn't really have friends. No one he'd give his phone number to or let into his apartment. No one that he checked in on from time to time. He lived a life pretty under the radar. He never even called the same hooker twice. "Nah, not me. Family was never that important. You know that word? Important?" He smiled as she patted his knee. "Family will be different here though," he said, frowning as he debated how to get that thought across in Spanish. "We need each other, all of us. To get things done so we all live. That's like family."
