"He seems kind of nice," Meredith agreed with a small nod. "He helped me carry my things," she added as she picked up her book and stood back up. "I don't think he likes Pegasus," she added with a small shrug.
"There won't be a problem bringing food into my hammock?" she asked after another moment of thought. "There aren't any animals up in the trees?" She didn't seem too worried at the predator's Helena was telling her about, the woman had said that the animals couldn't get up the trees and so Meredith wasn't going to freak herself out because of them. It wouldn't do to panic and distract herself from being able to think straight. "How is the food supply here? If people keep arriving do you think there will be a problem? How many people are there so far?" She obviously liked to talk a lot, but it was all with good intention.
