So this was the youngest arrival. Helena could tell she was a young teenager and she found that awfully sad. This girl should be home, going to movies with friends and studying for tests. She sighed at the miserable fate that seemed to have sucked her in as well. "Well Meredith, I'm Helena. I was the first one to arrive here. Would you turn away just a little bit more? I'll climb out and get dressed and walk you back." She didn't like her wandering so far alone but she had to admit she shouldn't have done it herself this late in the day. "Cross told me you arrived with blankets. Did someone held you set up your hammock?" The poor climber tree really wouldn't take another hammock now. She would have to start construction of the vine bridge to the smaller climbers along the stream now. "Did you get something to eat?" There was the sound of sloshing as Helena pulled herself out of the blessedly cool water and back into the oppressive heat and stillness of the day.
