So it was more a case of blind hope that II and II would not be like I and instead be like those made thirty years or so earlier than feeling the need to see it just because you're a fan of the brand itself and feel obligated? They are a very different tone in how they're done, I have to admit that I believe it would have been better to use the Clone Wars as a backdrop as the television series has to maintain a more unified view (which is how I view it, which makes watching two different tones very odd) and the idea many people went in looking for something else entirely and feeling irate about it when they did not receive it, that makes sense.
