She nodded once, some of her hair falling around her shoulders and around her face. "That would be her." It wasn't exactly a bright future they had to look forward to, but Izzy would rather have been there, dealing with it, than here, doing absolutely nothing. At least at home she could help plan, prepare, and try to figure out a way to stop the worst from happening.
"That would make sense." she replied, in a 'nothing about this makes sense, but that's the best thing I can think of' type of way. "You're from my past, but I have no memory of you ever vanishing, or going anywhere. You can't exactly explain that." There was no vanishing to a different world that she was aware of. The idea of it made her feel like she could go cross-eyed. It wasn't the type of thing she wanted to think about.
Izzy looked over at him with an arched eyebrow. "Yes, and I seem to recall you getting into a lot of trouble as one." not that the trouble he got into was less. Truthfully it was probably worse. But no one really had to go charging to his rescue anymore. "An object from their world brought us here, kidnapped us. Yet we are treated liked criminals when we arrived, and then are benched and left in the dark. I haven't heard of single piece of good news involving fixing this mess. They don't seemed that equipped, and this does fall on them." she said simply with a shrug.
Isabelle had absolutely no knowledge of SHIELD, other than knowing it was something that Simon got overly excited about, and she didn't understand it. But coming from someone who knew nothing about them, she wasn't impressed. They had preparations for keeping people here long periods of time. That was hardly reassuring. "It's not that they're mundane anyway. That's just a term, because it seems to be that most of their staff are mundanes. It's just a fact. Mundane or not, they have no idea what they're doing. Maybe there are people here now who could do better."
"I didn't ask you over here to debate SHIELD though." she said with a shrug. "Can you stay tonight?"
