I was pleased to see it in use again but unfortunately it did make it easy to infiltrate afterward. Yes, I did. I was tempted to reclaim it but I thought it better to be seen to be innocuous rather than hiding away down there.
I was considered useful but no great threat to their power. That is why they mocked me and gave me the name Fen'Harel when I first stood against them. In truth, I bungled a great many things at first.
I have always known that to take down the Veil would mean dealing with the Evanuris and that their fury at me would be beyond measure. It is complex. The power I claimed from her does come with some of her anger at those who murdered her but I am not Mythal. Her... godhood if you wish is reserved for Morrigan. What the witch does with it is a discussion she needs to have with Mythal but I know that Mythal has always approved of Morrigan's strength of character. Morrigan is simply young and impetus and still possessed of the idea that she knows everything. When she comes to the understanding that will allow her to accept Mythal's godhood... I believe she will do remarkable things. She has the potential to bring back some of the best of Mythal.
